Haaaa, who doesn’t love some time at the seaside. I know I do, so whenever I get the chance, I head out to Knokke-Heist. This cool little town has a lot of things to offer, let me tell you that. Let me tell you even more and just show you this Knokke travel guide, where you find every little fun thing to do, eat, drink and shop. Hooray!
Knokke travel guide: to eat
The perfect spot in between shops. The avocado toast here was extra yum, and devouring avocados while looking at hip clothes is only the best thing ever.
Glacier de la Poste
You’re on the seaside, so obviously there are a lot of ice cream parlors. This one is the best; the ice cream is very creamy and they’ve got tons of flavors. Throw on some whipped cream and get going. You won’t regret it.
This one is golden. A beautifully decorated restaurant where the food is finger licking good (literally). Chef Glenn knows how to put pure pieces of art on your plate. By far the best restaurant in Knokke. By far.
Rather known in Belgium (and well beyond); Le Pain Quotidien. Easy, honest dishes that are the right healthy match for your breakfast, brunch and lunch cravings.
Little Pinterest-chic hidden gem near the Lippenslaan. Their menu isn’t very bulky, but the quality sure is. Try their pancakes on a Sunday afternoon, they are to die for.
Knokke travel guide: to drink
Probably one of the coolest things Knokke has to offer. This cocktail bar is run by a family that think taste is the most important thing. Don’t expect classic flavors, but be ready to surprised. This speakeasy bar is hidden, so finding it is an adventure as well.
Beach bars are awesome. This one is for the party animals out there, with a DJ making sure the atmosphere is juuuuust right.
A rather chill beach bar, where hanging out is the most important thing.
For all you Costa Rica lovers out there. This is the perfect place to meet up with some friends on a sunny day. And you’ll love the drinks since they collaborated with The Pharmacy for the best cocktails.
Knokke travel guide: to shop
Crazy beautiful concept store downstairs, but when you go up, you arrive at the museum. From a gazillion snow globes to weird dolls. Quite the fun experience.
Shop til you drop
There are a lot of beautiful boutiques in Knokke, yes ma’am. I dedicated a whole article to my favorite 6 shops in Knokke.
Knokke travel guide: to do
The Zwin is a unique combination of a visitor park and a nature reserve, a place that a lot of cool birds call home. It’s the perfect place to visit on a Sunday morning and walk the week off.
Knokke is well provided if it comes to art. Go check out the many pieces on the sea bank or look out for the Beaufort-pieces.
Knokke travel guide: to sleep
One of the most famous hotels in Knokke, located on Albertplein. The perfect location for a weekend away. The rooms are very pretty, you can drop your car at the premises and the staff was super helpful and friendly.
